An interesting thing appeared with the addition of the spawns in the creative mode menu once you press 'E' in the game. Scroll all the way down and you will find your basic monsters, your netherly monsters, and your enderly monsters, and then some other harmless mobs along the way. But something else interested me even more than that: the Mushroom spawn.
When you spawn a Mushroom, you get something that looks like a cross between a cow and a mushroom. It has mushrooms sprouting out of it's back, has red and white spotted skin, and doesn't cause much harm to the player. I don't know where they normally spawn or if they do normally spawn. When you kill them, they don't drop anything - no mushrooms or meat of any kind. They have the same properties in game play as a normal cow.
On the Minecraft Wiki website, I could find no other specific information - if anything comes up, I will post it here! If you fimd anything I should add or have missed, please leave a comment so I can fix this post correctly with the necessary information to keep everyone informed.
Any more questions? I read all the comments posted (obviously) so just leave a question and I shall leave an "Re: (insert question here)" sometime soon.
