REPORT - "Mobsters Everywhere"

Q: What happens when you come across a monster and have no weapons, potions, or tools with which to dispose of them?

A: Run. Run as far away as you can as fast as you can until you know you lost them and set up a temporary shelter until the morning comes.

That is the first basic rule of minecraft, if you have just started. If you do have weapons, you still need to be cautious, because creepers don't like you and swords don't work that well.

1. Zombies: zombies are the most basic mean mob on the street and becuase they are easy to kill, you can probably engage and not be put into jeopardy. The only way to die at the hands to a zombie is if there are other mobs around to make the easy kill more difficult.

2. Spiders/Cave Spiders: climbing to the tops of buildings to escape spiders will not help, because they can climb walls just like regular real world spiders. They are lower in elavation and can swim, but are not fun in closed and confined spaces in dungeons and things when you have to fight them head on. They are easier to fight than others, but are difficult if you get stuck in a spider web.

3. Creepers: bows and arrows work the best for the most part. There is no way to kill a creeper unless you have a diamond enchanted sword (really risky with creepers). Your best chance if you have none of these is to just run.

4. Enderman: the most annoying and baffling enemies of all time, enderman need to be taken out quickly and silently, because they vanish and reappear right behind you most times and beat you about the head profusely with whatever it is they happen to have mined before you decided to attack them.

5. Skeletons: this enemy has bows and arrows and can shoot you from a very long distance away. They are not easy to run from but are slower while shooting at you, since they cannot technically sprint. So, the best thing to do is to catch up with them and kill them before they have the chance to kill you.

And that just about does it for upperworld monsters. Different rules apply for the monsters in the Nether, so be very careful about how you handle those, becuase they cannot be any more fun than the ones in the upper world.
